Scandinavian Ranch House

Drawing from one homeowner’s Swedish heritage, this custom residence reinterprets the single-story ranch as a modern courtyard home. The exterior is defined by simple pitched roof forms, with both walls and roof clad in corrugated black metal for a cohesive, minimal expression. A glass sunroom for gardening punctuates the linear massing, separating the primary suite from the main living spaces. In contrast to the restrained exterior, sculpted ceilings and skylights introduce abundant daylight from above, shaping the interior experience. The home is currently under construction.
